Who loves watching a cheesy Hallmark movie? Despite their silliness, we'd happily embrace those hallmark moments ourselves. We all crave comfort, predictability, and feel-good escapism. Even when things go wrong (the girl didn’t know he was a prince..blah, blah), we know everything will be perfectly okay in the end, sealed with a kiss before the credits roll. What if we could have more moments like that in real life by embracing deep gratitude for what we have and letting go of how we think things should look? Hallmark characters aren't free from challenges, sadness, or problems. In fact, we couldn't appreciate the happy endings without them. But because we TRUST that happily ever after is coming, we watch without fear or anxiety.
