As I silently judged my community (with love), I realized that even I don't decorate for the fourth unless I'm hosting something. So there, I told on myself...🙃

Time expands when we craft. Scratch that.

I constantly tell myself, 'This project will only take 10 minutes.' Yeah, 10 minutes in dog years (sometimes for multiple dogs).

However, that's on me, because sometimes I need to manage my expectations more effectively.

Instead, I look for ways to enjoy the journey, such as listening to my favorite podcast or a new audiobook.
​
This week I have been listening to all of Jane Austin's books on audio. I knew I would never have the patience to read the literal book just because the writing style is so different for my 21st-century brain, but I can handle the audio version!
​
And I do love learning new vocabulary through these timeless books. Here are my three favorite Jane Austin vocabulary words from this week.

​Witticism – a clever or witty remark
​Fastidious – very attentive to detail, hard to please
​Repine – to feel discontent or long for something << this explains the feeling I have when crafting time is over :(​
