Reader, imagine I handed you a book and said, ‘Fill this with your dreams, a grand vision, and goals for your life.’ What would you put in it? Now, when I handed my kids a book and said, "Fill this with your dreams/goals for your future," do you know what happened? Why, as adults, do we struggle to know what we want so badly? Personally, I think there are two reasons.
The truth is these are very real feelings, but they do NOT have to be your reality. YOU have a choice. Join me this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET for a live craft-along where we will make a dream book together and craft a vision for 2025 and beyond. A few weeks back, in my New Year’s Anthem, I told my community that I was going to unveil a very vulnerable and real side of myself this year in hopes of helping others through my story. During our live this Saturday, I will teach/share.
If you want to come ready to build your book with me (and I REALLY hope you do!), here are some things you will want on hand. 🌟 A scrapbook, photo album, or poster board. I like to do mine in a photo album book because it’s portable, and I can read it each morning and before bed, but feel free to use the classic poster board for gathering your ideas. 🌟Images that capture your dreams, and DO NOT censor yourself! 🌟Extra elements, stickers, and washi tape to dress up each page that much more - be creative! 🌟Double-sided tape or glue to stick everything down. 🌟Pens and pretty paper to write out your dream. 🌟An open mind that drops all preconceived ideas about what you think you can or can’t accomplish! If you have a dream or goal in mind right now, please reply and share it with me. And consider coming ready to boldly declare your dreams during the live (this is optional, of course). I can’t wait to craft with you this Saturday, Abbi P.S. Short version? We are crafting our dreams LIVE this Saturday at 12:30 pm ET. Have you ever cleaned up and organized a part of your home or craft room only to forget where you put everything?Isn’t it ironic how trying to be tidier can lead to losing things? This happens a lot in my craft space; I call this phenomenon Craftnesia - the feeling that you have that craft supply or tool but can’t remember where. Staying organized around the house or in our craft spaces is honestly a tall order. After all, being creative and mess-free is not exactly harmonious. To help with...
I walked into the movie theater with my kids and husband to see the movie Wicked. I expected a fairytale-like story with music that would surely get stuck on repeat in our car for the next few months. What I actually got was a life-changing message that was a peak to the slow crescendo that’s been building all year (and Popular stuck on a loop in my brain). For those of you who are still Wicked outsiders, let me bring you in from the cold… Once upon a time in Oz, the green girl who’s just...
Who loves watching a cheesy Hallmark movie? Despite their silliness, we'd happily embrace those hallmark moments ourselves. We all crave comfort, predictability, and feel-good escapism. Even when things go wrong (the girl didn’t know he was a prince..blah, blah), we know everything will be perfectly okay in the end, sealed with a kiss before the credits roll. What if we could have more moments like that in real life by embracing deep gratitude for what we have and letting go of how we think...
